We have 10 years to keep warming under 1.5 degrees since pre-industrial levels. That’s not the same as the time to turn it around, although it is still significant.

I agree that the problem is great, but what needs to change is not our fundamental systems, because that will consume far too long, but the precise areas of systems which are problematic. For example, pollution is an externality, not included in free market capitalism, and the change in this area that is required is the internalising of externalities, which a carbon auction or tax would do well. There are numerous other issues, but this is a big one.
