Sea levels will eventually rise to levels at which they encompass much of the currently-habitable land. In addition, the melting of the Greenland ice cap would trigger an event much like the melting of the ice cap of the Great lakes, where the sea currents became too hot or too cold in different areas, leaving only some inland areas habitable.
