I’ve written about the potential of nuclear before and consider it a possibility, but this article wasn’t focused on how to solve the problems, and was rather a diagnosis of the reasons behind our failure. Additionally, nuclear energy isn’t the only way to solve the problem; rather, a number of solutions will need to be used, of which nuclear could be one. Renewables, CCS, nuclear, plant-based diets, afforestation, industrial hemp, and technological solutions such as artificial absorption of sunlight before it even reaches the earth all have to be considered, and no single one will solve the issue in itself. To assert as much is simplistic and naive.
