Completely agree with you here. I write a lot about problems with the environmentalist movement, specifically practical ones, but this isn’t something I had really considered, although in hindsight I really ought to have. Not only is it a compelling moral argument, it’s also, in many ways, of practical detriment to environmentalism, due to the disillusionment it has the potential to cause amongst prospective black climate action advocates. Would you have any problems with me writing further about this in a piece on Medium?
